What's New...the Miywasin Centre partnership (Miywasin Society, Métis Nation Local '8', Métis Trading Company Society and Métis Urban Housing) are working together with Métis Housing Corporation, the City of Medicine Hat and Service Canada - Homelessness Partnership Initiative to develop Aboriginal Seniors Housing in Medicine Hat.  We are in the beginning stages of development and currently have a draft of our proposed facility and are looking for land contribution from the City of Medicine Hat.  We expect funding will be in place for ground breaking next year and units will be available for residents by 2011.  As the plans progress, we will be updating via website and public meetings.  For more information, please call Jeannette Hansen at 403-526-0756.
